Govt approves Rs2 hike in petrol price from July 1

ISLAMABAD: Government approved an increase of Rs2 per litre in the price of petro with effect from July 1, 2021l.

The decision to increase the prices of petroleum products was taken in view of the rising oil prices trend in global market.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2 per liter and the new price will be 112.69 rupees, High Speed Diesel increased by 1.44 rupees and the new price will be Rs113.99.

The price of Kerosene Oil has been increased by 3.86 rupees per liter and the new price will be Rs. 85.75 whereas Light Diesel Oil price has been increased by Rs. 3.72 per liter and the new price will be 83.40 rupees. The new prices will be implemented from Thursday July 1.
