Govt implements temporary entry permits for Pak-Afghan cargo vehicles

TORKHAM: The government’s recent announcement of temporary entry permits for cargo vehicles at designated crossings along the Pak-Afghan border has sparked widespread satisfaction among traders and container drivers.

With a huge volume of trade transactions expected, the introduction of the Temporary Entry Document is expected to provide a considerable boost to commerce.

At the Torkham border, traders and container drivers have enthusiastically welcomed this initiative, expressing relief and optimism about its potential impact.

“This is a very commendable decision that will resolve many of our concerns,” remarked a transporter, reflecting the sentiment of many in the trade community.

Likewise, Afghan container drivers echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the mutual benefits that such a temporary entry permit would bring to trade between the two nations.
