LAHORE: The representative of the local business community has asked the government to find out new markets for local products through conducting a market-based research.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ijaz A Mumtaz, while talking to members, said that Pakistani missions abroad should introduce Pakistani products in new markets and also ensure dissemination of trade-related information so that Pakistani entrepreneurs could avail trade opportunities to an optimum level.
Mumtaz also stressed the need for strengthening of institutional framework, and said that unavailability of authentic data is coming in the way of Pakistan’s external trade.
