Govt withdraws concessionary SROs up to Rs 90 billion

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad has said that the government has withdrawn concessionary SROs between Rs 80 billion to Rs 90 billion.

The FBR chairman said that the government has already withdrawn SRO amounting to Rs 325 billion during the last three years . He said during the first year of present government, SROs of Rs 104 billion were withdrawn, while during the second year government took back SRO of Rs 120 billion.

He said that all concessions and facilities of diplomatic staff will be available as usual. He said during economic survey all figures compiled through transparent procedure. He said that government tried its level best to keep balance between taxes and duties.
