FAISALABAD: The growers have been advised to complete cotton cultivation end of May.
The Agriculture Department spokesman said on Friday that although best time for cotton cultivation is before mid of May. However, the farmers should immediately complete its cultivation before end of May as late sowing can cause loss in production.
He urged farmers to use certified cotton seeds for cultivation of cotton over maximum space because its production not only plays a pivotal role in meeting the food and cloth requirements of the people but also helps growers in mitigating their financial issues.
