Gujranwala Customs Intelligence seizes Omani iron scrap worth Rs 8m

SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has foiled a bid to smuggle Omani iron scrap to a furnace mills worth Rs 8 million.

On the strict directions of Customs Intelligence Director Usman Bajwa, Deputy Director Muhammad Anwar, Assistant Director Zaib Mehmood, Superintendent Saif Ullah and Inspector Majid Raza raided Miraliwala Road and recovered smuggled Omani iron scrap worth Rs 8 million.

It is learnt that the suspects brought the smuggled iron scrap from Oman and wanted to shift it to Mighty Furnace Mills in Aimenabad.
