Gujranwala Customs Intelligence seizes smuggled cigarettes, cloth and toys

SIALKOT: A team of Gujranwala Customs Intelligence and Investigation raided various shops and seized item worth Rs 300,000.

The team conducted raids in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal and Gujrat under the supervision of Customs Intelligence Assistant Director Zainab. Superintendent Saifullah, Inspector Majid Raza and others were including in the team.

The officials checked the shops in different markets and recovered smuggled Pine cigarettes, cloth and toys worth Rs 300,000. All the accused shopkeepers were fined.

The team members confiscated all cigarettes and cloth while warned all shopkeepers of strict action if they were found involved in such kind of illegal business in future.
