Gujranwala Excise seals 300 properties, impounds 96 vehicles

SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has sealed as many as 300 residential and commercial properties, including godowns and houses due to the non-payment of outstanding taxes, besides impounding 96 different vehicles in Gujranwala.

The special crackdown was conducted on the directives of Director Rao Shakeel Ur Rehman. He told that the owners of the above-mentioned properties were still remaining reluctant to pay their outstanding arrears despite the repeated issuance of the recovery notices by the excise.
