Gujranwala FIA arrests 184 culprits in 3 months

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) nabbed 184 accused during first three months of year 2016 and recovered Rs 6 million from accused persons.

Reportedly FIA nabbed 8 red book accused, 110 human traffickers, 67 proclaimed offenders, four power thefts, two gas thefts and 36 accused of hundai and hawala from Gujranwala region during the said period, besides distributing the recovered amount among the victims.

Gujranwala FIA officials said that operation against the human traffickers will be continued. They added that numbers of human traffickers have been arrested from Sialkot, Sambrial, Bhimbhar, Gujrat and other areas of the region.

The officials also recovered fake documents, visas and other documents from the possession of arrested persons, which have been sent behind the bars after registering the cases.
