Gunjranwala Customs Intelligence impounds 3 cars, a truck

SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded three cars and a truck after finding them tempered with.

As per details, the Customs Intelligence teams, following the directions of Gujranwala Deputy Director Zainab Mehmood, conducted various raids and impounded three cars, including two Toyota Vitz bearing Registration No AAM-172 and AAN-427, respectively and a Suzuki Saloon after the drivers failed to show documents regarding the legal import.

In another action, the Customs Intelligence intercepted a truck on GT Road and recovered Omani scrap. The officials seized the scrap worth Rs 8 million after finding it smuggled one, besides impounding the truck considering it an offender vehicle.

After impounding the vehicles, Deputy Director Zainab Mehmood sent the vehicles to forensic laboratory for examination. The laboratory issued an examination report terming the vehicles forged.
