Gwadar Customs seizes 82kg charas, 300g chemicals worth Rs 5.2m

KARACHI: The Gwadar Model Custom Collectorate has foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics worth million of rupees during a successful raid.

Collectorate of Gwadar Saeed Akram received information that a huge quantity of narcotics is smuggled from Afghanistan. Consequently, he formed a team under the supervision of Aftab Ullah Shah. The team started checking of vehicles at Kher Khira check post and intercepted a truck. During the investigation, the team recovered 82 kilograms charas and 300 grams chemicals of heroin from secrets cavities worth more than Rs 5.2 million.
