LAHORE: Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Revenue, will attend a meeting of the Members of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) on Saturday, 25th of November 2017, at APTMA office, 97–A, Aziz Avenue, Canal Bank, Gulberg Lahore.
Source told Customs Today that Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, will hear the problems faced by the textile industry.
The textile sector in Pakistan is very important as it contributes billions of rupees to the national economy after the agriculture and millions of people are attached to this sector.
The government has decided to solve the issues of textile sector for which she will also try to fulfill the requirements of the textile businessment. The source added that Prime Minster of Pakistan also wants this agro based industry to flourish so as to increase the exports and earn foreign exchange.
Haroon Akhtar Khan will hear the grievances of the textile businessmen and forward them to Prime Minster Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
