LAHORE: Prime Minister’s Advisor on Revenue and Finance Haroon Akhtar Khan will visit Customs House Lahore on Monday (today).
The source said that Haroon Akhtar will be accompanied by Member Customs Zahid Khokhar. It is reported that Haroon will make last appearance before ending of the government’s tenure.
The official sources said that apparently the PM Advisor will explain his government measures to increase revenue and will be thankful to the customs officers for their part.
It was also said that Akhtar will also be briefed on revenue position of the central region and express his input. The sources said that the PM Advisor on Revenue will also appreciate the customs officials and their role in revenue collection. The sources said that Chairman FBR and Member Customs are also due to address the officers and officials of customs.
