Hazara customs generates Rs20.80m all duty taxes & surcharges in 15 days

HAZARA: Peshawar customs station Hazara collected Rs20.80million all duty and taxes and miscellaneous surcharges during the 1st to 15th of May of Financial Year 2016-17.

During above said period, Hazara received Rs9.11million customs duty whereas it earned Rs0.83million miscellaneous duty and taxes. During initial 15 days of May, Hazara generated Rs0.04million redemption duty on imports and it did Rs14.88million sales tax on import of palm oil and got Rs5.94million additional income tax during 1st to 15th of May 2016-17.
During initial 15 days of April FY2016-17, Hazara collected Rs13.77million customs duty, Rs1.24million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges whereas it did Rs0.06million redemption duty on imports. Hazara customs station generated Rs22.433million sales tax on import of palm oil and it did Rs8.94million additional income tax. The said customs station received Rs1.50million federal excise duty on imports during the first 15 days of April FY16-17.
Hazara station showed an excellent performance of collection of revenue during the past 10 months of current Financial Year 2016-17.
