Hazara Station generates Rs42.63m of all duty taxes & other surcharges during June’s 15 days

HAZARA: Peshawar’s Customs Station Hazara collected Rs42.63million of all duty taxes and miscellaneous surcharges during the 1st to 15th of June’s Financial Year FY2016-17.

During above said period, the Hazara generated Rs12.28million Customs Duty (CD) whereas it did Rs1.09million of miscellaneous duty taxes and surcharges during initial 15 days of June.
Sources told CT that Hazara earned Rs0.07million of redemption duty (RD) on imports and the said station did Rs19.80million of sales tax (ST) on Imports of palm oil and it received Rs7.89million of Additional Income Tax (AIT) during the 1st June to 15th of June 2016-17. During the initial 15 days of June 2016-17, the Hazara got Rs1.50million of federal excise duty (FED) on Rs.1 per kilogram.
The Hazara collected Rs20.80million of All Duty Taxes and miscellaneous surcharges during the 1st to 15th of May’s Financial Year 2016-17 and it did Rs9.11million customs duty (CD) whereas it earned Rs0.83million miscellaneous duty and taxes.
During the initial 15 days of May FY2016-17, the Hazara received Rs0.04million of RD on Imports and the said station did Rs14.88million of ST on Imports of palm oil and collected Rs5.94million of AIT during the 1st May to 15th of May 2016-17.
