Honeywell teams up with Intel Security to give protection against IoT hacking attempts on devices

NEW YORK: Honeywell has signed partnership with Intel Security to give protection against IoT hacking attempts on devices. This joint partnership will aid The Internet of Things, customers in protecting their systems from malware by Honeywell utilizing Intel Security’s McAfee technologies into its Industrial Cyber Security Solutions.

Honeywell Process Solutions and its recent partnership with Intel Security will only be available for industrial applications and not for residential purposes.

Honeywell’s systems are widely used in industrial automation all over the world in industries such as:

Oil and gas

Refining

Pulp and paper

Industrial power generation

Chemicals and petrochemicals

Life science

Ideal for isolated systems within industrial control systems, this solution is designed to work without having access to the Internet or any other network.
