Hyderabad ASO seizes eight cartons of smuggled cell phone accessories

HYDERABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation Hyderabad has seized eight cartons of foreign cell phone chargers and accessories worth Rs 191,440 involving duties and taxes of Rs 66,429 during an operation in Hyderabad

According to the details, the ASO team following the instruction of Collector Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad, Dr Ahmed Mujtaba Memon, under the supervision Additional Collector Omer Shafique conducted an operation to curb the smuggling in the region which is affecting the local markets, besides causing loss to national exchequer
