According to the details, the ASO team following the instruction of Collector Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad, Dr Ahmed Mujtaba Memon, under the supervision Additional Collector Omer Shafique conducted an operation to curb the smuggling in the region which is affecting the local markets, besides causing loss to national exchequer
The ASO team intercepted a bus near Jamshoro tool plaza, Hyderabad on credible information and conducted thorough search which led to recovery of foreign origin smuggled mobile phones chargers and accessories worth 191,440 involving duty taxes Rs 66,429
The Anti-Smuggling Organization Hyderabad team comprising Deputy Superintendent Khair Mohammad Pathan, Inspector Arif khan, Inspector Saleem Shah and other took part in operation.
