HYDERABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a non-duty paid Toyota Probox worth Rs 600,000 during an action.
As per details, a field investigation unit of the Customs Intelligence intercepted the vehicle bearing Registration No. AAJ-718 near Hyderabad Bypass and asked the driver to produce documents showing the legal import of the vehicle.
The driver could not show any document; therefore, the Customs Intelligence took the vehicle into custody under the prevailing customs laws.
The team under the supervision Deputy Superintendent Sikander Hayat Khanzada comprising Inspector Syed Nooor Muhammad Shah and sepoys participated in the raid.
