Hyderabad Customs releases cloth consignment after receiving evaded tax

HYDERABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad has released a confiscated consignment of silk cloth along with truck after receiving the leviable duty/taxes amounting to Rs 626,000.

As per details, the MCC Hyderabad had confiscated the consignment after finding it non-duty paid in August 2015 and now, it has been released after receiving the taxes.

On the other hand, MCC Hyderabad state warehouse and Sukkur division will organise auction of confiscated items on September 12 (today).

Foreign origin tyres, cigarettes, juice, cell phone, blankets and other items will be presented for open bid under the supervision of Assistant Collector Samiullah along with Deputy Superintendent Sanaullah Sahrwardi, Inspector Saleem Ajmeri, Allaudin.
