Hyderabad Mayor directs tax department to increase collection

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Mayor Syed Tayyab Hussain has said that the HMC was surrounded by the financial problems.

Addressing a reception hosted by the HMC Tax Department’s staff at his office here, Hussain said taxation staff of the HMC would have to increase the tax collection to enable the HMC circumvent its financial problems. He assured the staff that being a Mayor he would resolve the staff’s problems pertaining to salaries and others.
