IATF meeting discusses strategy to curb menace of smuggling

KARACHI: An important meeting of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) was held at Regional Directorate of Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), Clifton, Karachi as a part of Operation “Umeed-e-Nau”, which was chaired by Frontier Constabulary (FC) Brig Muhammad Abuzar of ANF, Karachi.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director General, Headquarters Pakistan Rangers, Sindh; the Director General, Headquarters Pakistan Coast Guards; the Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police HQ Sindh; the Secretary Health; Excise and Taxation Department, Sindh; the Additional Collector Customs (Preventive), the Director Intelligence & Investigation FBR; the Commander Airport Security Force, JIAP; the Deputy Inspector General, National Highway Authority Motorway Police; the Director Naval Intelligence, Karachi; Deputy Director General, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Karachi; Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Karachi and Port Intelligence Officer, Karachi.
