ICCI achievement awards ceremony held in Turkey

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized “ICCI Achievement Awards Ceremony” at Istanbul, Turkey.
The ceremony was attended by 400 members delegation from Pakistan led by Sheikh Amir Waheed, President ICCI. M. Naveed Malik Senior Vice President, Nisar Mirza Vice President ICCI, Muhammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi Ambassador of Pakistan in Turkey, Kazim Tekin District Governor Basaksehir, Abdullah Dolek District Governor Eyup Sultan of Turkey, Bilal Khan Pasha Pakistan Consul General in Istanbul, Hasan Ali Cesur President ASKON, Ahmet Albayrak Chairman Albayrak Group of Turkey, Murat Tarman Honorary Consul General of Pakistan to Bursa, Serdar Sutcuoglu Honorary Investment Consul of Turkey, Zubair A. Malik Chairman Founder Group and Turkish businessmen were present at the occasion. Pakistani companies from various sectors including export, real estate, healthcare and consumer products were given awards for showing best performance in their respective fields.

Addressing the ceremony, Muhammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi, Ambassador of Pakistan in Turkey said that Pakistan and Turkey should focus on further improving bilateral trade and economic relations as both countries have good potential to promote trade relations in many areas. He lauded ICCI initiative for organizing business opportunities and awards ceremony in Turkey as these events have brought good platform to the businessmen of both countries to interact the explore areas of mutual cooperation.

In his welcome address, Sheikh Amir Waheed, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that Pakistan and Turkey were two important economies of the Muslim world and the purpose of holding awards ceremony in Turkey was to recognize the contribution of Pakistani best performing companies at international level. He said the business conference and awards ceremony by ICCI in Turkey have brought the businessmen of both countries together where they had excellent interaction and they were able to explore potential areas of mutual cooperation. He hoped that the visit of ICCI delegation to Turkey would be helpful in further improving trade relations between Pakistan and Turkey.

Sheikh Amir Waheed thanked Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi Ambassador of Pakistan in Turkey and especially Bilal Khan Pasha Pakistan Consul General in Istanbul for extending full support to ICCI in organizing both events successfully in Turkey. The award ceremony also featured cultural and musical performances from both sides.
