IESCO cuts power supply to Imran’s Bani Gala residence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has to pay the price for his civil disobedience as the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday disconnected power supply to his Bani Gala house due to non-payment of bills.

According to IESCO spokesman Fayyaz Hussain Saddiqui, the power supply to Imran’s house has been disconnected for not paying the electricity bills of August and September, adding, “the company disconnected all the three meters of Imran Khan’s residence are for non-payment of over Rs130,000 dues after completing all formalities.” Power supply would be restored after paying the dues, he added.
