ISLAMABAD: A divisional bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of four tax references filed against Customs Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).
The division bench, comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, heard three customs references filed by M/s Shalimar Diplomatic Bonded Warehouse, Islamabad. The court dated the cases in the office which means the administration would set the next date of hearing.
The appellant had challenged decisions of Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad through its submissions before the court. Besides Customs Appellate Tribunal, some officers of FBR were also made parties in the case.
The bench also adjourned hearing of another tax reference filed by Sheikh M Akmal. The appellant, Akmal had filed reference against ATIR and also made parties to LTU officers.
