IHC adjourns RTO’s petitions against three companies

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday adjourned hearing of cases filed by officials of Regional Tax Office (RTO) against different companies.

The court adjourned the hearing of cases till end of winter vacation. The Inland Revenue commissioner had approached the court against First Micro Finance Bank, National Telecommunication Corporation, and Haidri Beverages Private Limited, through three different petitions.

IHC division bench, comprising Justice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq heard and adjourned the cases.

In another case against Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue filed by Telenor Pakistan Private Limited, the IHC has directed both parties to prepare arguments in the case.

The petitioner had challenged tribunal’s decision in the court through identical petitions. The court adjourned the hearing till end of winter vacation.
