IHC benches will hear tax matters filed against Customs Appellate Tribunal

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear a couple of tax matters involving tax appellate tribunals on Tuesday.

A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear a sales tax matter against Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad.

Muhammad Shahzad Aslam had filed the case in which he had challenged appellate tribunal’s decision before the IHC.  Other case will be heard by Justice Noor-Ul-Haq N. Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah.

This tax matter was filed by Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (PMCL). PMCL had challenged an ATIR decision before the court through the petition.
