ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted stay on a petition filed by model Ayyan Ali against recovery notice of Rs 52.5 million issued by customs authorities. Now authorities are restricted to take any action on property owned by the super model.
It is necessary to mention here that the Lahore High Court (LHC) also returned her petition after raising a objection under section 265k of the Customs Act. While on the other hand, her petition in Sindh High Court was not heard due to non-availability of the judge.
