ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued notices to the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).
The IHC bench comprising Justice Noor-ul-Haq N Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq issued notices while hearing income tax references filed by Telenor Pakistan (Private) Limited.
The company had filed around four references challenging ATIR decisions. Through these notices, the IHC has directed the ATIR to review its decisions. Telenor Pakistan had requested the court to issue notice to ATIR for revisiting its verdicts owing to certain unanswered questions pertaining to the law.
