IHC summons Customs Tribunal on March 30

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Customs Appellate Tribunal for appearing before the court in a customs reference case on March 30, 2016.

The court issued the direction after a customs reference was filed by M/S Mushtaq Ahmed.

The notices states: “You (the tribunal) are hereby summoned to appear in this court (IHC) in person or by a pleader duly instructed and able to answer all court’s questions relating to the matter on 30/03/2016.”

The notice further cautioned that “in default of your appearance on the day before the court, the case will be heard and determined in your absence.”

The notice carrying direction was also copied to Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi Customs collector and additional collector.
