RTO-I generates Rs 56 billion in Feb 2016

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-I of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 56.240 billion under the head of different taxes during February of the current fiscal year.

As per details, the RTO-I has collected Rs 53.631 billion under the head of income tax during the said period. It also generated Rs 2.562 billion as sales tax and Rs 47 million under the head of federal excise duty.

It is important to mention here that RTO-I collected Rs 36.234 billion taxes during the first 20 days of the month. It had collected Rs 34.425 billion as income tax, Rs 1.779 billion as sales tax and Rs 30 million as FED.

During first 10 days of February, its total collection was standing at Rs 18.516 billion.
