IHC summons LTU commissioner in TF Pay Phone case

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to an officer of the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) to appear before the court in a tax reference filed by TF Pay Phone Limited.

The court would resume the hearing of the tax reference on April 28 (Thursday) in which the court has summoned Islamabad LTU Inland Revenue (IR) commissioner.

The appellant had filed this reference in 2009 which was yet to be decided by the court. The appellant had challenged the LTU order before the court. Earlier, the appellant had moved Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue against the orders. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court would issue necessary orders in this regard.
