IHC will hear cases filed against Customs Appellate Tribunal, ATIR today

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Tuesday (today) will hear several cases involving Customs Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).

A division bench of IHC comprising of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani would hear three sales tax references and one customs reference against ATIR and Customs Appellate Tribunal respectively.

M/s Orient Power Company Private Limited, M/s Saba Power Company Private Limited and M/s Fauji Kabirwala Power Company Private Limited had filed references against ATIR in which they had challenged tribunal’s decision pertaining to their complaints decided by the tribunal.

M/s Amson Vaccines had filed only one reference. It had challenged decision of Customs Appellate Tribunal before the IHC.

IHC bench comprising of Justice Aamer Farooq Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb would also hear a case against ATIR. It was filed by RTO’s Commissioner of Inland Revenue against the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, Islamabad.
