Independence Day:  Flag hoisting ceremony at Customs House

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate-Preventive is going to organize a flag hoisting ceremony to mark the Independence Day at the Customs House, Karachi early in the morning.

The Customs House has been decorated with the Pakistani flags and the building would be illuminated with lights.

The major event of the country’s independence will be attended by dignitaries including Chief Collectors Enforcement South Zahid Khokhar, Appraisement-South Abdul Rasheed Shaikh, Collector MCC Preventive Syed Tariq Huda, MCC East Collector Manzoor Memon, Collector Adjudication-I Farid Iqbal Qureshi, Collector Adjudication-II Dr Saifuddin Junejo, Director General Customs Valuation Samaira Nazir, Director Internal Audit Zahid Hyder Bhayo, Director Post Clearance Audit Karachi Gul Rehman, additional deputy collectors, deputy collectors and assistant collectors of Appraisement West, East and others.

On the occasion, the Chief Collectors will hoist Pakistani flag and a simple ceremony would be held in which the chief collectors would throw light on the importance of independence.
