ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Adjudication Islamabad has heard nineteen cases of smuggling on June 2, 2015.
These cases include smuggling of food, clothes, tea, auto parts. Deputy Collector Adjudication Miss Kaukab Farooq adjourned the hearing of the cases until next date and ordered the parties to submit documentary evidence in their defence.
During the Court proceedings Judge reserved the judgments of six cases. Verdict of these cases will be announced soon. It is to mention here that quite a number of cases involving Excise and Customs being forwarded to Customs Courts for proceedings on daily basis.
Most of these cases belongs to categories, of anti-smuggling, money laundering, tax evasion etc. According to reports thirteen cases will be heard on June 3, 2015.
