Islamabad Customs relegates inspectors recruited on sports basis

ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad has decided to relegate those customs inspectors who were recruited on the basis of sports.

The hockey team of Model Customs Collectorate has won three gold medals but the players said that their services had been ignored. They have challanged the decision in the Islamabad High Court. The decision about the managers named as Iqbal Minhas and Fakhar Iqbal Gondal is pending with the Collector Zeba Hai. The players had been promoted to grade-16. Now they have challenged the decision in the Islamabad High Court and the court has granted injunction.
