Islamabad High Court will hear four tax references today

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear four tax references on Tuesday (today) following end of 180 days stay granted to the appellants by the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).

The bench, comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, will hear the cases which also involved officers of the LTU as respondents.

These references had been filed by M/s Orient Power Company Private Limited, M/s Saba Power Company Private Limited, M/s Fauji Kabirwala Power Company Private Limited and M/s Infertility Services Private Limited.

The appellants had sought court’s directive on restricting LTU from recovering taxable amounts from their accounts.
