JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. supplies 33.67 MW of PV modules to Rijn capital in Chile

BEIJING: JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar” or the”Company”) (NYSE: JKS), a global leader in the PV industry, today announced that it has supplied 33.67 MW of PV modules to Rijn Capital for a project in Chile. Rijn Capital is a Chilean renewable energy company that develops, acquires, builds, and operates a portfolio of power generation and transmission facilities. Rijn Capital owns a pipeline under development of nearly 500 MW´s of solar PV projects in Chile and was established by Rijn Capital BV (Netherlands).

Successfully completed and connected to the grid in April 2015, the San Pedro III PV Plant Phase I project is located in the Antofagasta Region of northern Chile. The project secured long term financing from CorpBanca, a local commercial bank, with EPC services rendered by EFACEC, the largest electric power group in Portugal. The project uses 110,400 JinkoSolar high-efficiency PV modules that will produce approximately 100GWh of electricity per year.
