KARACHI: K-Electric announced that the power utility further cemented its collaboration with Telenor’s EasyPaisa and payments for new connections for electricity could now also be made with ease at any EasyPaisa shop or via Easy paisa mobile accounts/wallets. This is first time that such an initiative has been launched in the power utility sector for accepting payments for New Connections and this initiative will speed up the process of new connection payments, eventually facilitating the customers.

Easy Paisa which is Pakistan’s first and largest branchless banking service and a joint venture between Tameer Microfinance Bank and Telenor Pakistan, has more than 70,000 shops across the country which would facilitate any transaction for K-Electric’s customer in acquiring a new connection.
