K-Electric taking stringent action against electricity thieves, defaulters

KARACHI:  K-Electric officials, along with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Sindh police and Rangers, have taken stern action against defaulters and electricity thieves in various areas of Karachi.

In a press statement, the KE said that the FIA uncovered over 2,500 hook connections in various areas of Karachi and took stern action against the offenders. Many renowned restaurants such as Bundoo Khan, Ambala Food and Broadway Pizza situated at Sindhi Muslim Society were found involved in electricity theft. On the basis of installing illegal hook connections, FIA took strict action against power theft, sealed these restaurants and apprehended the offenders for further investigations.

Law enforcement agencies are working alongside KE and we are committed in continuing these raids while taking lawful action against all culprits
