Karachi Excise recovers property tax from Shamim Chemicals, Prime Construction

FAISALABAD: The property tax branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has recovered Rs 856,000 from two tax defaulter factories located in Site Area of Karachi.

Talking to Customs Today, property tax branch incharge Qayyum Soomro said that the two factories, Shahmim Chemicals and Prime Contraction, have not been paying taxes since long despite repeated intimations.

He said that when the team visited the factory to seal it, the owners of both the factories paid taxes on the spot.

As per details, Rs 620,000 has been recovered from Shamim chemicals and Rs 236,000 from Prime Construction in the wake of property tax.
