KARACHI: Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Zahid Saeed has said that problems faced by traders and industrialist are being highlighted.

He said that it is appeared from the World Bank survey that Pakistan has failed to make tangible progress on certain benchmarks. Referring to this report, he said that the results are not surprising if seen in the context of the government’s inability to fully abide by its own economic agenda and the structural reforms.
Some key indicators on the basis of which the World Bank also assesses countries ranking were construction sector, paying taxes, enforcing contracts, starting businesses, trading across borders and getting credit.
Zahid Saeed said due to complicated process economical environment has become uncertain for new business starters. “We are losing our place in global market but the government didn’t announce trade policy or package for exporters,” he said.
Zahid urged that without providing business friendly environment the dream of stable economy cannot become a reality.
