Karachi Stocks rebound with 197pts, up 0.64% to regain 31,000pts status

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark KSE 100-index gained 196.62 points or 0.64 percent to reach 31024.07 points and volume of 90,683,420 shares on last day of trading, Friday.

The KSE gained 16 points to reach 30843.58 till midday as the 100-index touched the maximum level of 30909.65 and minimum level of 30756.22 points. Earlier, the country’s largest stock market started with positive note and gained 35.70 points or 0.12 per cent to reach 30863.15 points with the total volume of 8,344,090 shares on the last trading day.
