Kasur Excise launches operation against tax defaulters

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation, Kasur has started crackdown against cable operators and property tax defaulters on non-payment of taxes.

According to District Excise and Taxation Officer Malik Muhammad Aslam, action against defaulters has started with new energy and enthusiasm, adding that final notices have been issued to cable operators directing them to submit their dues in order to avoid legal action,.

According to the details, the excise has impounded more than 150 token tax defaulter vehicles and seized documents of more than 300 vehicles during one week, besides recovering a huge amount of token tax from defaulters. In action against property tax defaulters, district excise has sealed more than 80 properties in Kasur, khudian and Chunian.
