Kasur Excise seals 693 properties and impounds 216 vehicles

Kasur: Excise and taxation Department Kasur sealed 693 properties and impounded 216 token tax defaulters in a drive against tax defaulter.

According to Excise and Taxation Officer Malik Saleem, excise has sealed 693 properties in different areas of the city on non-payment of property tax, while it has recovered Rs 3.2 million from the defaulters after sealing their properties.

Excise team including ETO Malik Saleem, Chaudary Shaukat Ali, Ali Asad, Akbar Sadiqui, Jamal Nasir and Rashid Iqbal took action against tax defaulters.

On the other hand, Excise has impounded 216 token tax defaulter and unregistered vehicles. During action against tax defaulter vehicles, excise recovered Rs 375,000.

Excise established check-posts in different areas including Steel Bagh Station, Khudian, Qasur Tool Plaza and at other entrance and exit points of the city.
