Kazakhstan flour exports increase 14%

LONDON: In December 2015 flour exports  from Kazakhstan amounted to 233.16 KMT, that almost twice exceeds flour exports volumes in December 2014.

Thus, during four months of the current season, exports from Kazakhstan increased by 14%. In September-December of season 2015/16 Kazakhstan exported 764.3 KMT of flour against 671.8 KMT  during the same time period of last season.

Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, the main importers of Kazakh flour, are increasing their purchases. During the reporting period, Afghanistan imported 46% more flour than during the same time period of the previous marketing year (364.6 KMT compared to 249.3 KMT in September-December 2014/15 MY). Uzbekistan increased Kazakh flour purchases by 9% in this period (up to 336.2 KMT against 308.4 KMT).
