KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s ‘BMGians’ delegation headed by Chairman Businessmen Group Siraj Kassam Teli accompanied by Vice Chairmen Businessmen Group Tahir Khaliq, Haroon Farooki, Anjum Nisar, President KCCI Haroon Agar, Senior Vice President Shamim Firpo, Vice President Nasir Mehmood and others met with President-Elect, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain at Karachi. Siraj Kassam Teli, Chairman Businessmen Group and Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on behalf of the business and industrial community of Karachi presented best compliments to Mamnoon Hussain, President-Elect, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Siraj Kassam Teli on this occasion stated that it is hoped Mamnoon Hussain will act as a bridge between the government and the business and industrial community to address the genuine problems, achieve the industrial progress, enhance the exports, boost commercial and trading activities and economic prosperity of Pakistan. Siraj Teli apprised Mamnoon Hussain about the burning issues confronted to the business and industrial community in Karachi, particularly deteriorating law and order situation and threats to life and property. Taxation issues were also briefed. The delegation of KCCI/BMGians also brought to the knowledge of President-Elect other problems and issues faced by the business and industrial community of Karachi.
