KCCI pays glowing tribute to Qaim Ali Shah for exceptional service to business community

KARACHI: Chairman Businessmen Group and Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Siraj Kassam Teli and President KCCI Younus Muhammad Bashir, while reiterating KCCI’s clear stance of being a non-political entity, paid glowing tribute to Syed Qaim Ali Shah for his exceptional services to the Business and Industrial Community throughout his 8 years long tenure as Chief Minister Sindh.

In a statement issued, Siraj Kassam Teli stated that the Karachi Chamber and Businessmen Group enjoyed excellent relations with CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah who always paid attention to numerous issues and resolved the same on priority basis as per aspirations of the Business and Industrial Community.

Siraj Teli further said, “Qaim Ali Shah, who has always given special attention to Karachi Chamber’s requests, has done a commendable job and will particularly be remembered for his business-friendly approach and prompt response whereas the Business and Industrial Community expects similar approach from Syed Murad Ali Shah, who is likely to become the next Chief Minister of Sindh and we would like congratulate him in advance.”

Appreciating the cooperation extended by Syed Murad Ali Shah in the capacity of Sindh Minister for Finance, BMG Chairman said, “Murad Ali Shah has also been very supportive to Karachi Chamber and we expect enhanced support and cooperation upon his elevation to the top most slot of Sindh government.”

He said, “Keeping in view his acquaintance about the issues of business community, we expect from Murad Ali Shah to take business and industrial community on board in the decision-making process as wisely done by Qaim Ali Shah during his tenure as Chief Minister.”

He further advised Sindh government to focus on improving the overall infrastructure of Karachi, particularly the dilapidated infrastructure of industrial areas.

Siraj Teli stressed that the Sindh government should review the entire situation in consultation with KCCI and accordingly devise strategies with a clear focus on bringing down the cost of doing business which in turn would result in expansion of industrial units, create employment opportunities and help in efficiently dealing with the menaces of poverty, lawlessness and terrorism.

On behalf of entire business and industrial community, Siraj Teli extended full support and cooperation to Sindh government in all its endeavors to facilitate the Business and Industrial community of Karachi.
