KCCI to sign MoU with Jakarta CCI

KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President A Abdullah Zaki along with Chairman of Special Committee for Liaison with International Chambers and MoUs Implementation Junaid Esmail Makda has flown to Indonesia to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry for mutual co-operation to enhance bilateral trade and extend facilitation to members of respective chambers.

During A Abdullah Zaki’s absence, Senior Vice President KCCI Muffasar Atta Malik will act as President. Prior to his departure for Indonesia, President KCCI said the signing of MoU with Jakarta-CCI was undoubtedly a significant achievement. He said it was an outcome of series of meetings held from time to time between KCCI and Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Karachi. Rossalis Rusman Adenan, Consul General of Indonesia had undoubtedly played a pivotal role in turning that MoU into reality, Abdullah added.
