Kerosene prices slashed by Rs48.29 per litre in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has reduced the price of kerosene oil following a series of cuts in petrol and diesel rates across the country.

According to a notification, the government has announced a major reduction of Rs48.29 per litre in the price of kerosene oil, bringing the new rate down to Rs233.90 per litre.

Previously, kerosene oil was being sold at Rs282.19 per litre. The new prices have come into immediate effect, providing direct financial relief to consumers.

Officials said the reduction is part of a broader adjustment in petroleum product prices, as petrol and diesel rates were also reduced earlier, with petrol cut by Rs74 per litre and diesel by Rs67 per litre.
