Kh Adnan assumes charge as Member after promotion to BS-21

ISLAMABAD: Khawaja Adnan Zahir, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, has assumed the charge as Member after his promotion to BS-21.

The officer, on promotion to BS-21 vide Board’s Notification No. 2406-IR-I/2017, dated 29.08.2017, took the charge of the post of Member (BS-21) at Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on June 2, 2017.

In compliance of Judgment of Supreme Court of Pakistan dated April 14, 2017 passed in C. P. No. 2109-2139/2016, on the recommendations of Central Selection Board-2017, Khawaja Adnan was promoted to BS-21 in Inland Revenue Service, on regular basis with effect from June 2, 2015.

Kh Adnan relinquished the charge of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR (OPS) (BS-20), Regional Tax Office II, Lahore on February 25, 2017 and assumed the charge of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR (BS-21), Regional Tax Office-II, Lahore on the same date.

He took the charge of the post of Director General (OPS) (Special Initiatives) (stationed at Lahore), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad, on January 14, 2016.
